The mission
- Get a heated mold out of the preheating oven that holds 1000 degrees C
- Turn the mold 180 degrees
- Place the mold in a vacuum oven
- Repeat once a minute
Requirements for the manipulator
- Lifting capacity 150 kg
- Gripper arm 2.5 meters long
- Rotation in the tool 180 degrees
- Withstand foundry environment – hot and dirty
- To be used by operator in protective clothing
