Ergolift® MB/BB
Strong and flexible
Ergolift MB/BB has an arm system that is flexible both horizontally and vertically. The operator doesn’t need to lift, hold, rotate or tilt a workpiece by himself, but gets help to do it quickly and precisely.
MB/BB is also suitable for low ceiling heights. The outer arm can be custom built, which makes adaptation to specific requirements easy. MB/BB can handle a high bending moment in the tool attachment, and can therefore be used for high eccentric loads. It is possible to reach into or under obstacles with an MB/BB.
Together with a suitable gripping tool, Ergolift is a flexible and economical solution to your manipulating problems.
You have the options of hydraulically (MB) or pneumatically (BB) powered lifting. The arm is moved sideways with manual force. The lifting speed can be continuously regulated with a simple hand control, and the workpiece turned around any number of axles depending on the gripping tool. If the operator lets go of the controls, Ergolift will stop and hold the workpiece in the same position.
Optionally, you can choose a balancing feature which lets you hold the workpiece and move it without using any controls. Perfect for assembly work!
Safety valves hold the arm and the load in place in case of power failure or pipe leakage.
The standard sizes for MB are shown below. We can also make special configurations for other weights and reaches.
Like other Ergolift® products, MB can be mounted on a floor pillar, hanging from a fixed ceiling position or from a trolley system.

Off center loads
Ergolift is designed to manage loads where the center of gravity is off center. The load can therefore be held and moved some way away from the tool attachment (see image).
