Cause 1: The counterbalance valve settings have been disturbed. Adjust the counterbalance valve (see Chapter 7: Adjustment Instructions - Adjustment Instructions for Hydraulic Valves).

Cause 1: The countervalve settings have been disturbed. Fouling of the valve may have caused a leak. Adjust the counterbalance valve (see Chapter 7: Adjustment Instructions - Adjustment Instructions for Hydraulic Valves). If this does not help, dismantle the valve and thoroughly clean all parts. Re-install the valve with the settings indicated in the instruction manual. If this does not help, replace the counterbalance valve.

Cause 1: A leak in the hose connection to the valve. Release the connections and remove the hexagon nipples. Replace the sealing washers under the hexagon nipples if necessary.

Cause 2: A leak from the pressure relief valve or steam cock. Remove the nuts and replace nuts and sealing washers if necessary.

Cause 3: A leak from the seals between the pressure compensation valve and the regulator valve body. Oil is trickling out from between these parts, particularly in the lower area. Replace the three O-rings between these parts.

Cause 4: The gaskets in the valve housing and slide is worn out, and must be repaired.

Cause: The pillar or mounting bracket is skewed in the direction assumed by the manipulator. Level the mounting flange on the pillar/mounting bracket using an engineer's level. Also adjust the washers under the mounting screws.

Cause 1: Jumper strip misconnection in the motor's connection box. Adjust jumper strip position. See chapter 8.

Cause 2: Supply voltage is too low. Supply the motor with the proper voltage (see rating plate) or switch to a motor with proper voltage.

Cause 3: The weight of the load and lifting tool exceed the maximum lifting capacity of the arm and the pressure relief valve on the hydraulic power unit will not open. Reduce the load and adjust the pressure relief valve in accordance with the adjustment instructions.

Cause 1: The weight of the load and lifting tool exceed the maximum lifting capacity of the arm. Reduce the load.

Cause 2: The adjusting screw for the steam cock on the regulator valve is completely screwed in. Adjust the steam cock according to the Adjustment instructions.

Cause 3: The pressure relief valve for air pressure on the hydraulic power supply is has been dislodged and opens at too low pressure. Fouling of the valve may have caused a leak. Adjust the pressure relief valve according to the instructions. If this does not help, clean or replace the valve.

Cause 4: The hydraulic pump is broken. Replace the hydraulic pump in the hydraulic power unit.

Cause 5: The filter return is blocked. Replace filter cartridge by removing the filter cover. (remove the three screws).

Cause 6: The oil level in the oil tank is too low. Add hydraulic oil. See the Technical Specifications chapter for the proper oil.

Cause 2: The piston seal on the air cylinder is leaking. Replace piston seal and piston rod seal in the cylinder.
